What is heartbreak?
Heartbreak is when you are broken down.
When you’re on the floor crying your eyes out, and no one is there.
When you’re wondering how in the world you will get up and continue on like nothing happened.
Heartbreak is when all you want to do is run.
When the salty tears pool at the corners of your mouth, tasting like the sea water.
The sheer taste bringing back all the memories, washing over you like a spring tide wave.
That’s when you pick yourself up, and move on.
Because heartbreak is what makes us strong.
