Tonight I was taken on a voyage
A trip to a new universal realm
A palace of love, peace, serenity
There I was met by a guide
They interlocked their fingers in mine and showed me an unfathomable beauty of the universe and everything within
Every creature, every energy encountered thrived vibrantly, pouring new life into me
This place felt strangely familiar, aligning me with all of my past lives and the highest forms of self
Bearing witness to this moment filled me with completeness and the warmth of feeling whole
As my guide gave me room to breathe I took off exploring the scene
This encouraged me to lay down my ego to allow unconditional love to flow from the creatures therein, the trees that swayed in the cosmic breeze, the sand beneath my feet into my heart space
Their energies and the ancient knowledge received opened the mind’s eye to new possibilities
All I have ever needed is constantly generated from the depths within
That moment was beautifully sacred because of the infinite love and light it gave
An experience so humbling and powerful, yet calming and gentle
Returning to me to the earth a being transformed

Confessions of an Empath
The birds are chirping, and the sun is shining in a cloudless July sky. The vibrancy promises a beautiful day, but the cooing of the Mourning Dove perched on the powerlines seems to be more fitting than the lively songs of the robin flitting through the trees. The melancholic calls of the dove cloak the world in a sadness that hangs like tattered drapes.
