Unfamiliar Wind

Truth

By Kaylon ForsythPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

while walking through the wind, i see, an unfamiliar face staring back at me,

i rerun through all that i know, but can't seem to find them in memory.

I run and run, and try to flee, but cannot run for eternity,

until i face this figure head on, i cannot hope to truly move on.

the ground begins to shake, beneath my feet, and cracks begin to form throughout the street.

The things which we have not yet seen, will strike fast, kind of like a lazer beam.

We must stand strong, shoulder to shoulder, otherwise we wont have the chance to grow older.

within the air, a cold wind whips, the energy inside, begins to slowly my muscles rip.

the thing that many cannot see, is that we all have a unique purpose, this is what my spirit says to me.

The heat from within now rises up, like someone overfilling a coffee cup,

what i feel i cannot say, for my truth may differ from yours this day.

when you truly look deep, within, yourself, you discover that the energy is like spiritual wealth.

We all have a purpose, and we all have a place. Just take a look in your heart, the truth you must embrace.

You must be patient, with yourself, otherwise youll never know the strength as well as health, that you possess.

These are simply rantings, which i do now confess.
