To Whom It May concern

Poppy's Prompts

How funny it is to me,

As I stand in the sea

Miles away from you.

I can’t help but think of all we used to be.

Instead, we are but a lost letter

Floating over the sound

Does the sun burn your eyes?

Mine are still cast to the ground.

I want to look up

Reach out and find you.

I know you’re too far

so I’m content

From afar.

I send you this postcard

With love,

Yours and only yours

Me.
