The World is More than You Know
Life is more than you can imagine
The world is more than you know;
Life is more than you can imagine
Everyday there is hunger; everyday another child who dies without care
Fair is forgotten as the earth spins and we stand still frozen in the situation to which we were born
Life is not created on a blank canvas by an artist with an unlimited palette but rather built by decisions carried out within the limited scope of the primary options before you
You – the self – feels real in a world that is mostly illusion and so you tell yourself that the construction of life is one made at the clever hands of the subject
"Open your eyes" and "Free your mind" are phrases that fall empty on the minds of most because they are meaningless without action or interpretation
Exceptions to thought are dismissed and the world of experience once again takes over as the division continues to grow
If tomorrow comes as a surprise, then you have not given yesterday it's due as tomorrow is nothing more than the inevitable consequence of today's interpretation of yesterday
Yes, life is an illusion but don't worry because on every corner is a display of masterful slight of hand that eases the conscience and soothes the guilt
Built is the tower so look up instead of out and you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the artful autocrat as they hide the rabbit in the hat before the show that manipulates the masses to move without meaning
They are the enemy; they are the ones who have convinced the world that tomorrow will never be different than the tomorrow of yesterday, but they are not the true makers of truth
It is them that are the illusion. They are the ones with limited choices because our voices ride through the streets with the force of feral horses. It is you who are their enemy. Never forget that you are the threat – you just have to bet on yourself and join the movement because they are winning the war before we've even began. It is time. To take. A stand. Rip off the disguise and realize that Life...
...is more than you can imagine
The world is more than you know.

‘Fair is forgotten’. A true yet sad statement. This was wonderfully written, so poetic and relevant. Congratulations
It felt like a poem that became an essay, but still written poetically if that makes sense.
