The Trials and Tribulations of Teenage Driving

A Comical Quest for the Elusive License

By The PenPalPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

In a land not far from here,

Lived a teen with much to fear.

For he sought a thing so grand,

A driver's license in his hand.

The Learner's Permit Debacle

He took the test, oh what a fright,

His hands were shaking left and right.

The signs, the signals, all a blur,

He couldn't help but to infer.

Parallel Parking Perils

The day arrived for parking trials,

He tried to park with all his wiles.

But left was right and right was left,

The examiner was quite bereft.

The Fateful Driving Test

Finally, the day had come,

To take the test and not succumb.

He hit the curb, then missed a turn,

The instructor's face began to burn.

The Victory Dance

But lo and behold, against all odds,

He passed the test, the driving gods!

His license gleamed within his grasp,

No longer bound to feet that clasp.

Epilogue: The Teenage Road Warrior

Now he roams the streets with glee,

A teenage road warrior, wild and free.

Though he may still stall and swerve,

He's got his license, he's got the nerve!

So here ends our comical tale,

Of a teen who passed, though he did fail.

For in the end, he got his prize,

And now he drives with laughing eyes.
