The Shadow of Who I Really Am

If only they knew...

By Rowan Finley Published 5 years ago 1 min read

The Shadow of Who I Really Am

Few Know Because I Don't Want

To Show the Real Person that I Am

That I Have a Crazy Side, Really I Do

That I Have a Silly Side, Really I Do

That I Have a Need to Be, but Can't

But Sometimes it is Easier to Fake

Every Now and Again My Shadow

Shows the Real Me but Not for Long

What is My Calling My Shadow is

Bawling and Desperate for Purpose

That Light May Come and Call Him

That Light May Come and Show Him

That Light May Come and Enhance

That Light May Come and Bring Life

To the Shadow of Who I Really Am

I have a crazy side too that I let off the leash more these days. My life is calling and I’m going to give it my A game , which means the leash is forever gone!
