I love some people's poetry. I use rhyme to give me entry.

I have written many, but don't feel any make a poet of me

I can see, some will disagree

I say, who am I to try to write the beauty of a poem

Well, I can try to show him

the man who thinks poetry is like modern art

splashing paint on canvas and any fart

can do that he says, my critic does.

Rhyming is somehow different

is that why I can only rhyme, or was it the effervescent

grandson of mine that asked me to write a rap for him

men and boys

all noise

I wrote the rap and was told not enough rhyme

okay this time

there is rhyme, but it is too long

who will listen for ten minutes to a song

Then it was I don't have a beat

wasn't that sweet,

no beat, I can help you with that

you little brat.

A beating, we will see about that.

JK, he is in his twenties now and

decided that the rapping Granny just does not understand

the language of the young, as she is no longer

someone who is not younger

and it is better if she puts together

spoken word, she can be a master of that

and the little brat

can find another

to help him with his plans, maybe new fans,

for his music, fighting, line of clothing and other.

Okay, so poetry is not what I do

I won't give up quite yet, as I am interested so

here me sing or speak the final verse

as I've written them and put them in my purse

Beautiful, is shimmering says one of my favorite

poets, it is one of her favorite words. It is right

to imagine being so eloquent and such a writer

of poetry all life long. A new writer I am and brighter

because of it. I watch all the good poets in orbit.

I need to be here for awhile and I'm hoping to stay

Sitting back and enjoying the journey, as I write in my way.
