The heart ache I feel is not for the love, that was lost,
Nor the money that never landed in my way,
Not for the time I spend while I toil at work,
Nor the parties that had never missed us,
The heart ache for the tales that it didn’t tell,
The food that it ate but never praised,
The time that I saved when I helped none,
The things that I uttered but no one listened,
The talent that I saw but never nurtured,
The good that I saw but never help it double,
Ways of the road that traveled back home,
Moments of silence spend in the company,
Of the ones I like and for the ones I love,
Cherishing the light of the life as it burns,
Never waiting never tired even as it flickers,
My heart ache for the words that it never uttered!
