The Battle

My own Hell

By Shaun AllenPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

All my life I have searched for the one thing

All my dreams, all my hopes

Depended on that something

Every day,I fought long and hard

Trying to hear the angels sing

Yet I still hear not

I will search, till my dying breath

For that love I long for

That I have not found yet

Am I destined to wander alone ?

I want to give in to the dark

But my soul rages on

sad poetry
