Ya know, all I’ve ever done “wrong” is to wanna talk, talk about what’s goin’ on in my head, or in yours, or in theirs, or even the lady’s upstairs,
but that just seems to be the worst thing ever, to wanna voice my opinion and say what’s the matter in this world,
and most people don’t like it, they just wanna fight it and say that there must be something wrong with ME,
but how can that be when THEY get to speak so freely?
I mean I’m not angry, I just wanna try and understand about what’s so wrong with it - is it just that you don’t wanna hear it…
…that is unless it comes from you and your point of view?
I mean is it that I’m too far gone with my thoughts, to wanna just talk, talk and get it out; to try and figure out what the hell it all means,
c’mon please, help me understand, ‘cause when I do stop, then I’m told that I CAN talk, talk it out and express myself, that I should test myself and let it out,
or?
Maybe I should just stick to what people need - to what makes THEM happy, to people please,
OR, maybe I should just write it all out, out in my poetry…..
pfft, I dunno, ya got me.

I'm a pathological people pleaser who's learning how not to people please. So I'd say no for you to do that or so what makes them happy. Always only do what makes you happy. Screw them all!

Ach, it's a terrible cycle, isn't it? Trying to work out what's right, wrong and everything in between. You're dead right, some people...okay. loooooooooads of people can be like that. "Oh yeah, I want you to share your thoughts" "Oh, why do you think that...are you a moron?" lol. I think you really figured it out by the end. Though, I think we should be able to voice our opinions...as long as we are being at least reasonable. And to be honest, sometimes even when we are being unreasonable. And anyone that stops you...is not worth the effort? Lovely bit of poetry though. Love just how you have your own unique voice with these kinda pieces! Well done, Jess!
