I have my bags packed,

That is a fact,

Take me to Fauquier County,

The hills around me,

Take me to The Plains,

Let me ride the horses,

Across the open field,

My happiness I yield,

Take me to Warrenton,

The County seat,

I am sure it is neat,

I would like to sit by the tracks,

And just relax,

Take me to Kelly's Ford,

I know I won't get bored,

Let me sit by the Rappahannock River,

I hope I won't shiver,

Let me wake up,

To see Rectortown,

Let me be there,

And walk around,

Take me to Upperville,

I am sure life there,

Is a lovely thrill,

Take me to Somerduck,

Resting in a blanket,

Under which I am tucked,

Life lived here,

I am sure is full of cheer,

I wish to visit Fauquier County,

Where nature's beauty,

Is all around me.
