Styx

Down the river we trod…

By Kuro Seijaku Published 6 months ago 1 min read
When we see time for what it is, and, can be; serenity.

So say we all until the last to fall

These days too relent

From crumbled walls we stand tall

Without fear at all do you now recall

What foresight prevents

From heel to palm of the bearer’s pall

We hear the call unafraid of squall

We shall soon lament

Only rook’s stall could cease our haul

The thrall’s shawl befalls these scrawls

The black sacrament

The waltz, stalled, crawls clawing the halls

Walls? Aren’t they meant to fall?

As shifting sediment

Basalt appalled upended Nepal

Assaults us all unending fatàle

A new soul repents

The vaults installed a sultry drawl

Without default we sail in yawls

They await along the gates.

Your rhyming is flawless and dizzying. A game of chess. a battle royale. Yep. Dizzying.
