Stepping Into the World
Poem: This was spun from an assignment in Creative Writing. The assignment was to write a poem like a favorite poet. I chose Robert Frost. Here it is in his honor.

I stepped into the world today,
it surrounded me.
Like the first moments of departed womb,
the cold sting piercing,
heart center piece,
quivering to the touch.
Again the newness
of Life's first breath,
brings mind to present fair.
I stepped into the world today,
and felt refreshed.
