Stars' Desire

Stars align, stars do shine

Stars all guide their realm divine.

They light the way from deep in space

There to guide the Human Race.

Dots connecting the way so clear

High above the atmosphere.

For in their path they align

To bring forth a monthly sign.

To seek and guide from their perch

Their Earthly children from their birth.

I am lucky, for in their desire

They have given me Leo’s Fire.

For like the Lion of the savannah

I reflect those traits in my manner.

“Fierce and bold!” the Stars proclaim.

“The Sun shines bright on this day!

“Here is a child, good and strong

“With the mightiest leaders she belongs!

“Be wary those who block her path

“For soon they shall know her wrath!

“Her courage comes in leaps and bounds

“For it is her heart that is well renowned.

“Love her true she will be a friend

“And defend their honor to the end.

“But treason and trickery she will not stand

“For only respect is what she commands.

“Equal in love and equal in hate

“Choose wisely all or seal your fate.

“For no falsehoods will she take

“Those who choose deception she will forsake.

“Romance, drama, comedies all

“For the Arts is also her call.

“Bathed in spotlight, dressed in fame

“For her stardom is what she will claim.

“Versed in wisdom, poise and grace

“Luxury and culture will she embrace.

“Though in her journey she may tumble

“It is all for her to remain humble.

“For Vanity and Envy are her quirks

“But her steadfast spirit will make it work.

“But be wary thyself, little child,

“For the best leaders are meek and mild.

“Though Leo’s Pride will move your lips

“Let not Arrogance make you slip.

“For on this path is Glory’s Hold

“But a haughty heart will make you cold.

“Stay on the path, follow the Sun,

“For that is where the race is won.

“You have the gift to change the world,

“So go forth now little Leo girl!”

Now in this form do I see

The gifts that were given to me.

I am strong and fierce, a leader fine

Ready to take what is mine!

I will show the world what I can do

The path given me is pure and true.

The Sun shines brightly on my face

And I shall follow it with eager pace.

Those who try to stop me best beware

For I am Power though I seem fair.

Once my mind is set I will not stop

No trap or snare shall I be caught.

I fight my way to reach my dream

Though great the distance it may seem.

I am a huntress, a lion on the prowl

My pride and wisdom my regal cowl.

I will not yield, I will not bend

Until I reach my journey’s end.

Raise your voices, rattle your chains

I will not break nor will I change!

My heart is strong, my courage unshaken

My way is clear and none other will be taken.

Though vengeance on me is fast and loud

I keep my head high and ignore the crowd.

Call me spiteful, call me a fool

But I shall not be any person’s tool.

Hated or Loved I take it in stride

For I know the difference between ego and pride.

The Stars have aligned a path before me

A way to light me to my destiny.

Great or small, rich or poor

I know that my spirit will endure.

For it was written as their desire

That I be born in Leo’s Fire.
