Shall We Dance Once More?

A Poetic Dialogue

By kailash jungPublished 3 days ago 1 min read

Why do we strive and journey on, if not driven by some spark of inspiration or ambition?

Oh, step into the spotlight and play your role in this grand puppet show.

Stand by my side and hold my hands.

The demands seem endless.

Dancing through this "pointless" life,

These strings drag us into conflict.

Yet, sometimes, the melodies can be sweet.

Follow my lead.

And then?

We waltz among these dreams, pulled by invisible strings.

Perhaps, if we dance long enough, we'll realize we're sovereigns.

At least the dance with you can be serene at times.

What a life we live.

What a life to live.

At least we agree on that.
