Royal Dansk Danish Butter Cookies

A Tale of Buttery Delights

An ocean blue ushering in a pride so royally

The charming tin already pleases my eyes immensely

Unveil the lid to find cookies arranged very neatly

This shape and that, like graceful ladies all look lovely

The plain ones humble themselves quietly

Yielding the glory to the swirly ones - way more buttery

Dazzles of crystalized sugar adorn the pretzel-shapes

A sweet angle must have come for splendid displays

Coconut flavors subtly yet deliberately seduce

May suddenly capture your attention until you subdue

I feel terrible about the rectangular ones

Failed to win my heart with your one-sided love too stubborn

Not born as a royal still enjoying the Danish delights

Dreaming of myself as a princess having tea with charming knights
