In the eye of the killer you’re the prey...

By Tony LawlorPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

In the eye of the killer, you’re the prey,

In the eye of the auteur, look for the story today,

In the eye of a lover, you’re a beautiful thing

In the eye of the beholder, you can be anything.

When you look in the mirror on a sad cold day,

And you can’t see that person that used to play,

The mirror doesn’t lie and it doesn’t say,

But it leaves it to you what you’ll be today.

All the pills and the thrills all the highs and the lows

When you look in the mirror it always knows,

The mirror doesn't lie and it doesn't say,

But leaves it to you what you’ll be today...

In the eye of a lover, you’re a beautiful thing

In the eye of the beholder, you can be anything,

All the pills and the thrills all the highs and the lows,

All you are and all that you'll be are all in the mirror for you to see...
