Reality

A poem by Kathryn Willis

By Kathryn WillisPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

When the wood and wick burn,

Where do the ashes go?

Where does the smoke?

The particles become

Energy

In an infinite wave

Of possibilities.

When the body dies,

Where does the soul go?

Where does consciousness?

The matter becomes

Waves

In an infinite energy

Of endless possibilities.

When a child is born,

Where do they come from?

How are they alive?

The subatomic particles

Come together from

The energetic wave of

Infinity.

How do I direct my life?

How do I affect matter?

I consciously choose

To observe the wave of

Energy

And create

From possibility,

Endless particles

In symphony,

That come together

To construct

Reality.

You see

Reality is bendable,

Not sturdy or dependable.

We are magnetic beings

Attracting more than

What we’re seeing.

Thought alone is consciousness

The energy that

Creates us.

The sound vibrations

Create the light that

Guides us.

And the future life

That we can choose

Ignites us.
