Plant the news in tomorrow’s landfill

Because the politicians and comedians

Have swapped roles.

🤡

Have I come to the right convention?

Is this the right bathroom?

There’s green-lit eyes on stamps,

And those red cheeks at the labels.

💮

Think about it: these tropes

are just a fraction of humanity

🫂

Forget misery; practise the peace

We’ve been practising in the

Palaces of deities.

🦅

Because if the bar is open

It’s never too late or too early

To hydrate.
