Alas, quick tongue,
Bite thy words, and
counteth to ten!
Deaden thy spirit
e’en in the
face of fiery
gall. Wretched
hussy!
Insufferable,
jealous,
killjoy!
Ladies
make
no
offensive remarks. Thou,
pathetic, paltry, pigheaded, pariah…
quick-tempered, and
rude…
Stick
thine tongue
under yon
vulture’s talon
whereon thou, O
xylocarp,
ye
zip it shut!

This is an absolute hoot, Gigi! I’m scratching my head at how I missed it when you posted it. Great work!
I loved this clever Abecedarian poem! Also learnt a new word… yes, xylocarp!🤣
This is so creative, fun, and poignant! What a wonderful piece! Thank you for writing and sharing this one!
Do forgive me: a clever, abecedarian tribute to The Scottish Play and the Bard who sang it!
VERY CREATIVE POEM
VERY NICE
