Money-ties

This came from nothing, I mean someone said something about knowledge plus money equals power,

so now by the hour, by the minute, we clamber, we scramble to obtain something that doesn’t really exist.

What is this?

This necessity that we have to survive, so that we can thrive - and keep up with everyone else,

I mean that’s what it’s about, right?

But let’s not forget the divide that this causes, the classes that we bought into - it got created by someone’s figment of imagination,

but now it’s a big deal, this shit got real and there’s no turning back from it,

or is there?

But, nah, no one wants to reset, they just wanna go get what they need to feed their obsession with possession of the material - to belong.

It’s about making it, craving it, wanting more, go in store, to spend it, be in debt with it, but forget that bit - to get more, go back in store, until you can’t even remember what you can afford,

so you find new ways to prioritise the greed, to feed the need and believe that you’re free - to monetise.
