"Pardon their Intrusion into Human Domain"

In corners unseen, where shadows creep,

Mice of gray and mice of white,

Through maze-like paths they deftly weave,

In search of crumbs their hearts believe.

Whiskers twitch with cautious grace,

Their world a labyrinth, a hidden place.

Oft unnoticed in the bustling day,

Yet at night, they come out to play.

Tales of daring, of treasures untold.

Pardon their intrusion into human domain,

For theirs is a quest, a tiny refrain.

In the quiet of night, they softly roam,

Mice of mystery, in their humble home.

So let them wander, let them be,

These creatures of curiosity.
