In the journey of love, we embarked
Hand in hand, our hearts sparked
Love's flame burned bright, we were in sync
Our souls entwined, our hearts in a link

But fate had other plans in store
My lover departed, forevermore
Before we could exchange our vows
Death took him away, without any bows

My heart shattered, my world fell apart
Tears flowed like a never-ending art
But amidst the grief, love remained
In my heart, it still sustained

I wait for the day we'll meet again
In another world, free from pain
Our love will be reborn, anew
In an eternal embrace, pure and true

Until that day, I'll hold onto love's light
Guided by memories, that shine so bright
I'll cherish the moments we shared
And know that our love, forever flared

Love's journey may have taken a turn
But my heart, for my beloved, will forever yearn
In a world beyond, we'll reunite
And love's flame will burn, ever so bright.
