When We Apart, Love Remains
My heart aches to leave your side,
But duty calls and I cannot hide,
The tears that fall, I cannot deny,
The love we share, it will not die.
Though we must part, our love remains,
Stronger than distance or earthly chains,
It will endure until my last breath,
And beyond, in life or in death.
Our memories will be a guiding light,
To keep our love burning bright,
And though I may be far away,
In my heart, you will always stay.
Until we meet again, my love,
I will hold you in my heart like a dove,
And though we may be apart,
Our love will remain, a work of art.
For our love is not bound by time or space, it's a divine grace.
