In the shadows of a somber night

In the shadows of a somber night

In the shadows of a somber night,

Where echoes whisper, soft and light.

A melody of sorrow, a tear-stained song,

In the quietude, where I belong.

The moon weeps in a silver stream,

Casting a pallor on a fading dream.

A garden of memories, wilted and grey,

Where once vibrant hues have faded away.

Silent echoes of a love untold,

In the tapestry of time, stories unfold.

A heart, a vessel, cracked and worn,

Bearing the weight of emotions, forlorn.

A solitary figure in the mist,

Chasing ghosts of the love I missed.

Fingers graze the echoes of the past,

In the labyrinth of memories, I'm cast.

Raindrops fall like teardrops from the sky,

A celestial lament, a silent cry.

Each droplet, a story left untold,

In the vast expanse, where dreams are cold.

The echoes of laughter, now hollow and faint,

A requiem for love, a heart's complaint.

In the gallery of tears, emotions paint,

A portrait of longing, an eternal taint.

Yet, in the darkness, a glimmer may reside,

A sliver of hope, where sorrows subside.

For even in sadness, a beauty can be found,

In the tears that water the heart's sacred ground.
