It’s not that you’re a bad person, but you care a lot about maintaining that love. That’s why you pay attention to what he likes and put up with his criticism.

You convince yourself that he’s doing it for your good, which reassures you to believe.

But eventually, you realize that what’s good and true isn’t always the same.

This understanding forms the foundation of basic respect between people.

Without respect, there can’t be a healthy relationship. Working together becomes impossible without mutual regard for each other.

Someone who genuinely likes you will appreciate every aspect of who you are.

They don’t have to love you, but they shouldn’t criticize you under the guise of love.

They can choose to leave but can’t simultaneously enjoy your good qualities and feel negatively about you.

You’d rather take care of yourself independently than lose your self-worth in love.

You decide to reclaim your sense of self and avoid giving your heart to someone who doesn’t respect your feelings.

You understand that love without respect will never lead to happiness.

In love without respect, Go away and stay single, please!
