If I met an alien

From outer space

Who’d come to study

The human race

I’d act without negativity

Maybe to save face

To show that the Earth

Is actually ace.

----------

I’d show them the wonders

And all of the sights

Both country and city

In glorious lights

They may see our dark underbelly

And devastating fights

I’ll not hide the wrongs

But make sure they see the rights.

----------

So come, my alien friends

I’ll show you around

I’ll show you our music

That glorious sound

There are treasures down here

And beauty abound

On this blue green orb

This Earth that you’ve found.
