i think I could love you

And the way you hold your hands when you kiss me

How you smile when you catch me watching you

I think I could

Surrender tomorrow if you asked me

Feeling excited about being alone imagining what it would be like to

Love you

As you hold my door and say my name

Cupping my face in your hands

My heart on my sleeve

Your name on my lips

Falling into a void where

I think I could love you

Sharing the same breath

The same thought at the same time thinking, what if

I think

About when we met and you told me your name

And I gave you mine and I liked when you said it

You brought it to life

Like the first time I had ever heard it spoken

I could love you

And the smell of your skin

And how your laughter fills the room your smile inviting mine

To believe

I think I could love you

"And I gave you mine and I liked when you said it You brought it to life" It always hits different when they say our name! Loved your poem!
