A Distraction Acrostic
Disturbed by your absence
I sought a diversion -
Some kind of pastime
To take my mind off your eyes.
Reading novels in which the hero
Always wore your cologne;
Collecting stamps by floating them off
The love letters you sent me.
I painted a landscape and the sun wore your face;
Organised my wardrobe so
Nothing you didn't like remained.
I hope you enjoyed this acrostic poem. If you've written one too, I'd love to read it, so please leave a comment. <3

This reminded me of Avril Lavigne's song, When You're Gone. I loved your poem so much!
This is a wonderful expression of love and longing.
