the other half of my heart
is across the other half of the ocean
where the sun rises in the west
and the sky is grey
not in a silver kind of way.
under the bridge
that rhymes
flows a river of longing
and a current that spits at
the grey rocks on shore.
there is 5 million miles
and a dream
that the fog will rise
and our clocks will tell
the same time.
you are not here
but that makes you closer.
