Grounded
A heart searching for compassion-
Where does my heart go…
when I, want to abscond?
How do I accomplish to make it stay?
Emotional and physical distress are the indications to take a rest.
If I had the strength that I need,
I'd Leave behind,
What is not for me…
Confiscate my dignity
and Flee…
My heart sits on the trust of my body,
To support and be carried.
I strive to take the deed,
I need to be free…
Release me from the thick chains ⛓️
Of poverty Living!
Empty souls
Don't feed
Empty spirits…
They grab
For what's left 👈…
Attempt to get more of what was already given…
Pay attention and know
The difference between real love❤️✌️and friends/foes
I guess the heart sits still…
I tried to bury my feelings, and enjoy the thrills,
But what good is love if you can't feel it?

Confessions of an Empath
The birds are chirping, and the sun is shining in a cloudless July sky. The vibrancy promises a beautiful day, but the cooing of the Mourning Dove perched on the powerlines seems to be more fitting than the lively songs of the robin flitting through the trees. The melancholic calls of the dove cloak the world in a sadness that hangs like tattered drapes.
