Fields Of Battle

Leave Only Ashes

In fields of battle, where the dead do lie

The cries of victory, a hollow sigh

Leaves only ashes, where once there was home

The drums of war, a distant beat

As armies clash, with blood to seal

Their cause, a noble dream, a noble fate

But in the end, what is the cost of hate?
