Fear and Failure are constants.... YOU are the variable
This poem was easy to write. It uses simple terms. It is short, and yet, it means so much. How do we perceive failure? When it happens, as it ALWAYS does, do we let it bring us down or do we rise from it? It the propensity to see that failure is happening to us again and again or that we are getting up again and again? Is the hour glass of time running out and burying us or filling our souls and fulfilling our purpose? Which way do you see it?
Again
It begins
With hope
A new journey
Upward momentum
But then
FAILURE
FEAR
Lost hope
My hard work,
My effort, my tears
I have lost all
It is over
Again

Excellent entry for the Inverse! This works well both ways, and the contrast in meanings is great. Your title is clever, and ties in as a great explanation for how our attitude affects our perception of events. Good luck for the challenge😊
