I saw him in a fantasy
I saw him in a dream
I felt him touch my hand
How can this be ?

Then, he whispered softly
" I wanna become a part of your life
Can I step from my world into yours?"

The day was long, and I thought of him
remembering what I'd dreamt
and those words he whispered so softly
What could they have meant?

When he whispered softly,
" I wanna become a part of your life
Can I step from my world into yours?"
~~~
The fire's warm
The wine is rich
But something's not quite right
Through the crack
in the door
I can see a light
~~~
There he was, standing there
I'm not dreaming now
He looked at me, he smiled at me
and then he softly said,
"Now, I have become a part of your life,
I've stepped from my world into yours."
