Emissions rise absolutely from factories

Consumption is rampant for we cannot be satiated

Lingering long-term effects foregone as we focus on the now

Idle chatter amongst this murder of ravens, atoning for sins

Painstakingly pursuing the holy trinity

Souls lost

Eternal blue world seemingly endless, we pray

For Fun

“Lingering long-term effects foregone as we focus on the now” really liked this line Jazzy, as it flows nicely but also contrasts the short vs long-term thinking.

Ahhhh man humans can be so ignorant. Remember the first Matrix movie when Smith compares humans to parasites? This poem reminded me of that

Now there's a good look at humanity, and a possible eclipse of our own making. Love this entry, Jazzy!
