To,

Ava

In shadows cast by a waning moon,

Lies the melancholy, a silent tune.

A heart's lament in twilight's embrace,

Tracing lines of sorrow on a tear-streaked face.

Beneath the weeping willow's boughs,

A tale of grief, the heart avows.

Echoes of a love now lost,

In the graveyard of memories, it's the cost.

Tears, like raindrops, softly fall,

On the petals of dreams, they enthrall.

A requiem for joy, a dirge for mirth,

In the vast expanse of a desolate earth.

Whispers of goodbye in the gentle breeze,

A soul adrift on sorrow's seas.

The sunsets paint a canvas of despair,

A masterpiece woven with threads of wear.

Forlorn echoes in the corridors of the mind,

A symphony of sorrow, once entwined.

Love's ember fades to a dimming glow,

In the creases of time, it chooses to go.

Each teardrop, a verse in the ballad of pain,

A serenade for love that couldn't sustain.

In the embrace of solitude, grief finds its home,

A poignant melody in the vastness of the dome.

As the night unfolds its ebony wing,

A requiem for a love, a mournful hymn to sing.

The stars weep silently in the cosmic sea,

A universe bearing witness to a lone soul's plea.

In the tapestry of sorrow, emotions cascade,

A cascade of tears, an elegy to the love that decayed.

Yet within the sadness, a resilience does grow,

For from the depths of despair, strength may flow.

Love,

Max
