Everything changed when the light disappeared, everything happened that the humans feared.
Covering us in a sudden darkness, the monsters came out, most created by Doctor Harkness.
Lost and afraid, we searched for someone to guide us, we couldn’t find anyone strong enough, the monsters would find us.
In this strange new world, cold and heartless, the monsters ate us, harvest us and leave us lifeless.
Painting the world with a deep shade of grey, the sadness we felt would not fade away.
Surrendering to the despair and dismay, the eclipse caused chaos and society to decay and fray while the monsters would slay, leaving us dead to lay.
Endless shadows stretch across the land, caused by the monsters who’ve made human life bland.
Cloaking our hopes in a shroud of monstrous fears, those who remain have all shed tears.

I like how the rhyme makes this into a song almost, which is at odds with the sobering content here- we all seem to fear the absence of light in some way, and this is cleverly done Alex 👏
Well done!!!
