earth

(mother)

By Sara Published 3 months ago 1 min read

tree branches run down her back like tendrils.

her face is warm, with a flicker of sunshine.

leaves climb up her waiting arms like vines.

her eyes are the stars that shimmer in black oceans.

she stands proud, like the oak trees in her lush forests.

her heart is made of daisies.

her palms are seashells with tiny grains of sand.

her soul is the howling wind

her voice sings like the birds.

her embrace is the waves

that caresses the shores quietly.

her breath is mine.

she is earth mother.
