Dark into Light

Enlighten me with this obscurity of light that lies beneath the darkness.

Creep through slowly, but still please show me the illumination that brings me hope.

Let the darkness only be part of this, but keep it temporary.

It could make a mess of me, or even get the best of me if it were to linger for too long.

Phenomenal, it may be, but let this pass through smoothly - don’t blind me.

Soothe me with the knowledge that the light shines through, under the darkness.

Eventually it will leave, it will get past this.

This feels like someone treading water, hoping to get through the rough time they're under. "Soothe me with the knowledge that the light shines through, under the darkness." is a great line Jess:)
