Curtain Closing Time

Beige Rods

A time to celebrate the closing of another day, completed,

The rods are grey and sometimes pink,

They crawl across the screen like lightning bugs,

Ready to explode on your pillowcases,

An ignition as cold as ice,

A battle of the brains, so to speak,

Hugging your shoulders in a twisted facade,

Curling the iron a little bit more,

The pleasure of soaking your sheets in the process,

A magical hour full of wanton disregard,

For exciting dreams to cum,

A release of dopamine as well as adrenalin,

Caressing every nerve in your body,

Let the fun begin,

Goodbye the problems of the day.
