Today, I went to the DMV to get my creative license.
When I got there, they asked me if I had twelve different things...
- My signed social security card
- My passport
- A piece of mail with my current address
- My last receipt from Wal-Mart
- A copy of my diploma and high school transcript with a complete list of all my teachers and their credentials at the time that they taught the course(s)
- My vaccination records since birth
- A copy of the obituary postings from all four of my grandparents
- A polygraph test completed within the last year
- A psychiatric assessment
- Finger printing
- A detailed list of the type of creative things that I planned on creating for the next 12.5 years
- A negative covid-19 test result
~ ~ ~
Of course I didn't have any of these twelve things...
So, I went home, hid in my closet, turned on my potters wheel and started creating clay pots...
...without a creative license from the DMV.
