“Rinse and repeat” the saying goes,
But higher highs bring lower lows
And lower lows bring stiffer drinks
And stiffer drinks bring blinks and winks,
Perhaps a blissful shared bong -
Then morning after comes along
And call me please and yes of course
And fifty flavors of remorse,
A range from what you got to lose
To swearing off all drugs and booze
And back to meet and greet and sweet.
Remember: gargle, rinse, repeat.
