Childhood memories

In the garden of youth, where memories bloom,

Childhood echoes like a sweet, nostalgic tune.

Laughter, like butterflies, flits in the air,

As we dance through days without a care.

In the warmth of the sun, and the cool of the shade,

Hide-and-seek secrets, in the grass blades laid.

Imagination soars on wings made of dreams,

As the world unfolds in delightful schemes.

Climbing trees like daring astronauts,

Seeking treasures in forgotten spots.

Bicycle wheels spinning, a rhythmic beat,

On the pavement of innocence, under tiny feet.

Ice cream melodies in the summer's heat,

Sticky fingers and smiles, oh, what a treat!

Moonlit tales beneath the starry skies,

Chasing fireflies with wide-open eyes.

Blanket forts and pillow fights,

Bedtime stories, magical nights.

Teddy bear companions, steadfast and true,

In the realm of make-believe, where skies are blue.

Schoolyard friendships, like flowers in a field,

Growing strong, an unbreakable shield.

Journeys through pages, in books untold,

A world of wonder, a treasure to hold.

Moments etched in the album of the mind,

A carousel of memories, forever entwined.

Childhood, a canvas of colors so bright,

Painted with joy, in the softest light.

Years may pass, like whispers in the breeze,

Yet, in the heart, childhood forever appease.

For in those moments, so simple and free,

We find the essence of who we used to be.
