Buried

Memories

By Emily McGuffPublished about a month ago 1 min read

No matter where you bury things

in years of memories

next to the big oak

underneath your bed

Or how Deep

-

They will always come back

Slip into the white spaces

Of your eyes

And torment whatever corner

Of the mind is awake and closest

-

Dark memories

won’t always stay hidden

in the Shadows

You've painted the truth in a poetic way, secrets always find their way out. There's no secret on earth. I enjoyed reading your poem.
