Blizzards and roadblocks

I'm getting nowhere today

You're waiting; I'm blue

***************************************

Sometimes getting home for the holidays is a real challenge.

We've gotten more snow here this year than we have in a long time, and I want to travel soon. But with roads closed every other day, it might not be an option.

I'm planning to fly, but if roads do close on my travel day, I won't be able to get to the airport.

I'm beginning to fear that I truly will have a blue Christmas.

I hope all my worrying will turn out to be borrowing trouble.
