Blue Angels

Waking up the Wildest Throngs

By Rowan Finley Published 5 years ago 1 min read

Blue flowers stretching sleepy arms

Such delicate dainty-like charms

Ringing and singing lovely songs

Waking up the wildest throngs

This is the kind of life to desire

Embracing the sun like warm fire

Romancing the spinning world

Woven wonders working unfurled

Setting the example of pure praise

Other plants lifting lustful eyes in gaze

Flowers possess all the beauty

It seems this is the most dignified duty

For attention is poured on the pretty

Everything else is just a true pity

At least we rarely are sought out

There is no fear or doubt

That we will be plucked by many a hand

For then we are thankful to be bland

Being gently reprimanded

Of course nature is commanded

To know that everything yields an aim

Though not all are exactly the same

Everything has been made beautiful

Knowing such is quite indisputable
