What does it mean to belong?
That is a hard Question to answer
Especially if you have never
Felt like you belong.
What if you were never the
Popular kid or good at sports?
What if you weren't a loner, but
Always felt lonely.
You had a group of friends you sat
with at lunch, but you were just there.
They didn't include you in
That many conversations.
What if you have a disorder
And feel like you will never
Belong.
What if you don't make
Friends easily.
How do you find a place or
Group where you will feel
Like you belong.
If you have a disorder, find
People that are like you.
If you can make one or two
Friends, they can be your place.
You can find people that have
The same interest as you.
If you are a gamer, that is
A great community that will
Make you feel like you belong.
If you have a talent, join groups
With the same interests.
No matter who you are, you
can find some place, group
Or person that you can belong to.

Why did you wait until you got to that bridge to cross it? That's the only time one can cross a bridge- A brigde, yes, yet you could've prepared way ahead of time Ahead of time there was only hurt and hate Oh, sure, we both got hurt, his actions still make me flinch But we survived, though his actions were a crime Survival was not enough, this carries far too much weight I did the best I could, processing bit by bit I honestly believe you did, as I too, though neither became sage I wanted more than anything to soothe your anguish, help you again feel at your prime Too late, mate. Way. Too. Late. I cannot just quit. You could've raised the subject when it came up, not waited until you got to the brigde I do desperately wish I had more time! Honestly, me too... me too, mate.

Confessions of an Empath
The birds are chirping, and the sun is shining in a cloudless July sky. The vibrancy promises a beautiful day, but the cooing of the Mourning Dove perched on the powerlines seems to be more fitting than the lively songs of the robin flitting through the trees. The melancholic calls of the dove cloak the world in a sadness that hangs like tattered drapes.
