Be Gentle with Yourself

Be gentle with your mind!

In the quiet moments I take a deep breath,

To release my worries and let go of the stress.

I know life's trials will come sometime fierce and fast,

But my kind gentle heart will always last.

I'll be kind to myself, embrace my pace,

take it day by day since there is no need to hurry,

Mistakes will happen, that's how I will grow,

In every stumble I will exercise my wisdom.

I'll forgive my faults and my missteps too,

When I remember the strength that lies in me.

In gentle whispers I will find my peace,

And let self-compassion bring me release.

For in the softness there's a deep power,

A gentle spirit is one I'll keep.

I will be gentle with my mind.

I will be gentle with myself.
