I.

Fog off the island

Obscures sight – hides cliffs, trees, blooms –

Yet nourishes thirsts.

II.

Grace is all we see;

In luminous pigments while

Darkness has its shades.

III.

A heart can be stone,

Heavy; protests the brain: yet,

Unknown is our fate.

IV.

Though once I was a

Fool, I stood amongst fools – and

How we all did dance.

V.

‘By contrast’ holds no

Truth; in mingling waves, we make

A wider sea swell.

VI.

Drink more water. Change

Is fine; change happens. Honor

Unchained memories.

VII.

It’s worth going out;

It’s more pleasant than it seems

From inside. Go be.
